Being a woman is HARD!
You are constantly told you aren't pretty enough. You aren't skinny enough. You aren't curvy enough. You aren't tall enough. You aren't good enough. And I know that sometimes you start to believe those things and think that you aren't enough.
As a woman I face those same struggles every day. I've gained weight. I look in the mirror and am not happy with the person looking back. I battle my inner demons every day who tell me that I am not lovable.
Products and companies feed off of our insecurities every day and sell us solutions. They sell us everything from diet pills and fashion to make us look good to perfumes and razors that make us smell or feel better. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make yourself better and improve who you are, but they show unrealistic standards as the end result and you need to know that YOU ARE ENOUGH AS YOU ARE RIGHT NOW! You deserve to be celebrated for who you are in this moment!

I’m the owner of Laura's Lenses and I specialize in portrait photography such boudoir.

- a great listener! I love learning more about people and hearing their stories (and then finding ways to capture their story in photos)
- an advocate! I spend most of my free time working with nonprofits to help survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence.
- a lover of small businesses! If you've ever worked with me you'll know my client gifts are made up of items from local small businesses. I also am involved with my local community of small businesses and even did a whole video series highlighting some of my favorite local businesses.
- a busy person! I don't know how to be bored because I constantly find things to fill my time from hobbies to volunteering to working on various projects I am always up to something!
